"Adecco is an international company, and has lots of contact around the world. They respond very fast and with the sincerity and eagerness to help people.

My first impression of Adecco staff was not so good. But my second impression of Adecco staff was that I can treat them as friends. I could talk to them about the problems that I face and they gave good suggestions which helped solved the problem.

Most of the staff I worked with have their own professionalism and a sense of trust, knowledge and friendliness. Adecco staff are quite fast in their response and services, and they do follow up, some case by case, when we do need help.

"My friends told me about their favourable experience with Adecco during their job search, and I must admit that Adecco is extremely professional and portrays transparency.

My first impression towards Jenn is that I find her very friendly, as well as professional. I went to Adecco through a referral from a friend for a job. However, after much analysis with Jenn and Claris, we concluded that it may not be a suitable job for me. I am glad they walked through this step with me as it made me realised what I was really looking for. Luckily for them, i did not accept a job that i never really had interest in the first place.

Within 3 weeks, I had opportunities to be shortlisted for interviews with a couple of MNC companies.

After each interview, Jenn would call to follow up on my interview. It was a very nice approach from her as it made me feel that she is concerned about my progress.

My general impression about Adecco is that the consultants there are very professional, and are not pushy. Most importantly, they make sure that it is a win-win situation for both their clients and candidates. So, you do not have to worry that the consultants in Adecco will "force" you to take up jobs that you are not suitable for, just because they are eager to close the "deal", unlike other recruitment agencies.

One feedback that I would like to add is that, I do hope that there will be more follow-up when the resumes are submitted through Adecco's website. Most of the time, what i hear from friends is that after the application, they do not know if any of their resumes have been used by the recruitment agencies to send to potential employers. So if Adecco can come up with a status system to inform candidates the status of their resumes, it will be very beneficial to candidates."

My personal consultant was Linda. She proved the saying "First Impression is the Best impression" as the first thing she did was greeting me for the offer I got. That was really impressive.

One of the good feedback that I have for Adecco is that their extended working hours and being more flexible to meet up even after office hours. Also throughout my contract period, I have been treated very professionally and friendly.

Perhaps one suggestion Adecco could take into consideration is to try and increase the cut-off days for payroll processing, maybe two or three days instead of one day (Monday) like now.

"I received advice from friends saying Adecco is well-versed in the industry that I am in (Human Resource). They are professional in their conduct as compared to other companies in the same category.

My personal consultant possesses high level of professionalism compared to other companies, and exudes a feeling of sincerity. She is friendly but could be more sensitive to individual candidates’ feelings. She is fairly eloquent, well mannered, trustworthy and has a good command of language.

From the consultants to the receptionist, they are all helpful and respectful towards visitors. They respond fast, usually within hours. The consultants are most willing to meet after office hours and to communicate over the weekends. However, this is usually expected in a search industry.

Their interview process is short and straight to the point, good for candidates who have already attended a lot of interviews and are tired of repeating information that are available in their CVs. They too provide adequate follow-ups, and are helpful in answering most enquiries. Phone call follow-ups are kept to a minimal and candidates are not disturbed at work. However, it could be better if the consultants follow up with emails on when and how the compensations and benefits will be dispense after the candidate's first day of work.

Overall, I will consider Adecco as my top choice in my pursuit of career opportunities. Compared with other agencies in the same class (Recruit Express, Kelly Services), Adecco is more professional and consultants conduct themselves better. They make candidates feel more valued and respected.

Adecco’s office environment is fairly conducive as most staff keep their volumes to a minimal which ensures that candidate waiting are not privy to business information. It will be better if meeting rooms are located away from work areas."
