Job Responsibilities |
-To assist the Chief Financial Officer in achieving the long term and short term objectives of the company.
-To manage the whole Accounts Department functions in Malaysia plant.
-Prepare and review monthly accounts for management.
-To attend to various statutory, secretarial, tax and government
requirements.
-To monitor the cash flow and treasury status of Malaysia plant.
-To assist the management in preparing the company budget and
forecast.
-To implement and refine the ABC costing systems that incorporates
budgetary control by Business Units.
-To assist in the review of the operation of the SAP system in relation to
internal controls set in.
-To review continuously the accounting systems with an objective to
improve the controls particularly in the area of inventories and fixed
assets
-To finalise the year end accounts and the preparation of the various
schedules for audit purposes.
-Verification of pay out of monthly payroll for exempt staff
-Verification of the authenticy of the payment voucher before routing to
the General Manager for approval.
-To oversee the MIS Department
-Any other projects as assigned by the management of GES.
Job Requirements |
-Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
-Preferably with SAP knowledge or at least ERP
-must from manufacturing background
-must have at least 5 years experience in accounting.
